L-Citrulline in Vigueur Active

150 mg per capsule per capsule. What it is, what it does, and why it earned a place in the formula.

What is l-citrulline?

L-Citrulline is a naturally occurring amino acid. It gets its name from the watermelon (Citrullus), which is one of its richest food sources.

General role of l-citrulline

L-Citrulline is widely used in sports and men's wellness formulas. In the body it is converted into L-arginine, an amino acid involved in normal nitric oxide production.

Why Vigueur Active includes l-citrulline

It is the first ingredient named on the front of the Vigueur Active bottle and one of the two largest components of the proprietary blend.

L-Citrulline is one of the three headline ingredients printed on the front label of Vigueur Active.

Amount in Vigueur Active: 150 mg per capsule. Serving: one capsule per day. See the complete Vigueur Active ingredient guide for the full label.

How l-citrulline fits with the rest of the formula

Vigueur Active is built in layers: zinc and vitamin B3 supply the nutrient claims, L-citrulline and L-carnitine lead the amino-acid blend, and pine bark, maca, grape skin, saffron and mucuna pruriens add the botanical layer. L-Citrulline is one piece of that structure. Read about the neighbouring ingredients, zinc and l-carnitine, or see how the whole blend works in our article on how Vigueur Active works.
